I’ve got no obvious use for this radio so it’s up for sale.
I was given this radio nearly 15 years ago faulty, it seemed someone tried the wide-band TX mod and damaged the front CPU PCB. I contacted Albrecht and they sent me a band new front panel which contained the required PCB.
I used this extensively when commuting in GM land. I then modded it to provide a 5-pin circular DIN connector for packet operation, mainly APRS. The 5 pin connector is wired for an MFJ-1270C but this seems to be the same as many others.
- Range: 141.000MHz to 149.995MHz 25w FM Transceiver.
- Steps: 5, 10, 12.5, 20 & 25KHz
- Memories: 10 channels
- Tone: 1750Hz only (no CTCSS)
Comes with the original microphone (not pictured) and mounting bracket.
